expiration of tickets

Hi there,

We have some WDW 4 day superpasses that we originally got in 1992. We only used 2 of the 4 days. Does anyone know if these would still be good - so that we could use the other 2 days?

Tickets never expire. You may have to stop by guest relations to exchange them for a new style ticket. You could also put them towards a ticket with more days if you wanted.

You would exchange them and receive new magnetic stripe tickets with two days that do not expire. Ask for the old tickets back as souvenirs, they will stamp "VOID" on them.

You should not use the old tickets if your vacation is 4 to 10 days long. A brand new ticket that covers that entire vacation costs only a few, as little as six, more dollars if you save the old tickets for futher off in the future.

Trading up the old ticket (one per new ticket) contributes only a small amount towards the new ticket because you must purchase non-expiration and all attributes of the old ticket for the new ticket.

No, it's not policy, but if a guest asks -- because they want the tickets for scrapbooking or a baby book or whatever -- the folks at Guest Relations will void them in some way and allow the guest to have them. I know several people who have asked for their old tickets back, and no one has ever been refused.
