Expiration of B1/B2 US Visa

Hiya All

DH's 10 year visa expires on the 4th November 2014.

We are travelling this August, am I right in presuming that as long as his visa is valid throughout the duration of our stay in the US he will be fine to travel on his current visa?

I guess my question is, it doesn't need 6 months remaining on it does it at the point of travel?

Yes, you are right. As a matter of fact he could even use it up to the day before the expiry date, no matter if the stay is longer than that. Done it that way before, visa expired the 20th of December but my stay was until the 7th of January, US immigration still let me through.
