We're planning an Oct/Nov 2019 WDW trip, our strategy is to buy UT tix for the 9 days we're going so as to qualify for 60 day PFs and also to split up the cost of an AP, we upgrade the first day then sneak in another trip the following year. If I buy UT tickets right now, will they still be valid Oct. 28 and beyond? I'll be buying any day now since I got the South West Rapid Rewards card to get airfare, our window opens March 14.

Tickets are date-based now so you would have to select your first day of use from UT anyways when you purchase them.

You will need to select a “start date” for your tickets, then the validity period will be based on the length of ticket (9-day tickets have a 13-day “use” window).

Enjoy your vacation!

That's the point I didn't realize. I last bought from UT in 2017 so all this is new to us. Good to know I can go ahead with our purchase plans. Thanks!
