Is there somewhere on the DVC site when it states the expiration date of your contracts?

Each resort has its own expiration date and its in your ownership documents. But, the add on tool will show you what it is for each resort.

BRV, VB, HH, BCV and BWV expire in 2042
SSR is 2054
OKW is 2057...unless you bought resale...then you are either 2042 or 2057...
AKV is 2057
BLT is 2060
AUL is 2062
VGF is 2064
PVB is 2066
CCV is 2068
RIV is 2070

Although it doesn't show in the add-on tool since there are so few points that come up for resale by Disney, VGC is 2060.

I know this is an old thread, but I was trying to search for the answer. So, if I have SSR and it expires 2054, the last points we will actually get are 2053 and have to be used by January 31, 2054, am I thinking correctly?

Yes, that’s correct, as others have confirmed.

The next question is, “My UY is [not February], so I won’t have 12 months to use my 2041 points. What will happen to them?” Unfortunately, none of us know the answer to that, and it’s possible that DVC management hasn’t figured it out yet.

Yeah, my December use year is starting to look real crappy. 😐

Isn’t OKW 2042 unless you have an extension bought either directly or via resale? And then many owners didn’t buy the extension but hope they will be able to stay until 2057…

The POS was changed and the ground lease now expires in 2057. So, technically, the resort now expires then. Owners of contracts when it was 2042 could pay for the extension or sign a quit claim deed giving it back to Disney...in 2042. That is what original owners have to do to sell a contract that is 2042.

There are indeed original owners who did neither and no one knows for sure what will happen in 2042...but, I bet some do hope that they pretty much get to use until 2057, for the cost of MF's and not have to have paid the additional fee that was asked back when the extension was offered.
