Expiration date of Park Hopper passes/tickets?

WDW park hoppers never expire. The 4 day Disneyland park hoppers that we bought earlier this year, expire in 2 years.

Will Disneyland ever change the policies of expiration to match those of WDW; if so, will our tickets (that we have in our possession, and which expire early 2004) eventually have their expiration dates extended?

It would surprise me if they changed the policy, and I highly doubt that even if they did change the policy, they would apply the change to older tickets.

Be careful too with the specials on the website. We're visiting in February and just bought the special "Pay for 3 days, get a 5 day pass free". I didn't see anywhere on the site, and didn't know until I received it in the mail that you must use all days within 13 days after the first use. We're only going to be there for 10 and won't be going back within 2 years, so it didn't really make a difference to us but it might to others!
