OKay....if I want to drop a night off our summer trip but have borrowed some points for this trip.....can I drop a night and get those points put back into the current UY?? We have 13 nights booked staying at OKW 7 and BCV 6. I would like to drop the Friday night (last night at BCV) and save those 75 points since we are staying for a very long trip this time. The reason is.....we decided to go in Nov for a week and had I known we might do this I would have probably only gone this summer for 10 days maybe. SO...last night I got to thinking about dropping that last night if I could.

SO.....could MS just put back 75 points...but not from the borrowed stash???? Does that make sense?????

You say you borrowed SOME pts. So, are some of the pts on the BCV ressie from this UY and borrowed UY? If so, they should be able to cancel a night specifically pulling this UY's pts off the ressie. Hope that makes sense.

I had a similar situation back in 2003 when I was a new member....wasn't sure how to handle it. I cancelled the first night of our stay, they pulled the current UY pts from the ressie and I was even able to bank them (as I was still within my 100% banking window).

Yes these are points from this UY and next UY. SO if they could put the 75 points back into this UY then I would bank them. I guess I should call them.

Yes, you shouldn't have any problems doing that. For our last trip in Jan at AKV I originally had a 2 bdrm for us and a studio for some friends of ours. They backed out, so I cancelled the studio which had some borrowed points. MS re-allocated the borrowed points to the 2 bdrm, and I was able to bank the rest of the points. Then about a month later DH's mother (who lives in Ft. Myers) decided to join us for 2 nights, so I borrowed points to reserve a studio for her. 2 days later DH tells me that she's planning on staying in our room for those two nights, so I called and cancelled the studio, and again MS re-allocated the borrowed points to the 2 bdrm and I again banked the remaining current UY's points. I don't even want to see my activity statement. It has points going all over the place.
