:lovestruc OK, I would be wanting to rent points. How soon in advance can a reservation be made, and how difficult is it to get a week at OKW for a studio? We will be wanting to go in Sept. Flexable for the week.

Oh, a couple more questions, what does a week mean? (Beginning day to ending day?) And although I read descriptive info about an OKW studio, I'm still not certain that there is a living area?

The Points Chart shows 80 points for a week, if I'm reading this correct. Please advise if I read this correctly. Thank you so much for all of the experts out there that are in the know.:surfweb:

You posted the same question in the Operations forum. No need to double post.

DVC Members can book their home resort(s) up to 11 months in advance and other DVC resorts up to 7 months in advance.

I think getting OKW in Sept should not be difficult. Points are almost double on Friday and Saturday nights.

If you haven't already, please be sure and educate yourself on how “renting points”, as it is often referred to, is very different from a regular hotel reservation.

Reservations can be made 11 months out from your reservation. Sept is one of the two least bust months at WDW and there should not be a problem getting a reservation.

There is not a living area, but it does have two beds. OKW is the only studio with that arrangement.

One week OKW studio for 80 points would be a check-in/out on same days, sun-sun or mon-mon - 7 night, 8 days. The check-in/out days are flexible, not set weeks like traditional timeshares.

Sorry for the double post. I realised after the post over in Operations that it should have been here at this board (DVC Planning), but I didn't know how to delete the message, or have it moved.

Thank you for the link to renting. I've read a lot of this before, but never chose to rent. This time I think we're really going to, and I had a couple of questions. I've been a Diser for quite sometime, and have always experianced the members to be extremely helpful. Thanks.
