Ok here's the deal - this time we only have one day for US and IOA. We will be there 20th Dec does this plan sound doable?? Getting there for rope drop with express passes IOA only..

Hulk
Spiderman
Duelling Dragons
Jurassic Park
Popeye Bilge Rat Barges or Dudley Do right Falls
One fish , two fish
Cat in the Hat

Afternoon - US
Rip Ride Rockit
The Mummy
Simpsons Ride
Men in Black
Macy's Parade

Thanks for any advice - have been to both parks before and pretty much done all the rides, just wanted to concentrate on the above.
What do you think??

Disagree. If you have Express Passes for IOA, you should go to US first. Why use your EPs when there are no lines and then move over to another park in the middle of the day just in time to hit all of the lines with no EPs?

I actually wouldn't purchase an express pass until I found that it was needed.

Thanks for your thoughts guys, think I will switch going to US first if I get an express pass for IOA - makes perfect sense.
Historically does anyone know if the week of 20th is super busy? Or do the masses descend Christmas week itself?

The masses usually swarm Orlando on 12/26 but leading up to the holiday is busy too...just nothing like after Christmas.

Your plan sounds just fine the way it is, except for the EPs. Don't buy them at all unless you think you need them. If you do you can buy them right in the park. I would also suggest a change of clothes if you are going to do the water rides, especially in the morning. I wouldn't count on a scorching December day to dry you off.

i would stick with doing IOA first.

if the park opens early, due to a long line waiting to enter, there will be more rides open at that time.

the hulk and spiderman would be running then.

you could knock off some of the rides on your list and be ahead of the other people at IOA then.

once you are done with that park, switch to the studios.

at this point, if the studios have long waits for rides, then consider buying the epp for your group.

if line waits are over 20-5 minutes at the studios, consider the epp then as you will only be there for the one day.
