Experimental Ice Cube??

They are actually some sort of plastic cube and when they are hit fairly hard against something a colored light will come on making the entire cube glow. I think they come in red, blue and green. There may be other colors, but I'm not sure. You get one of these in a drink. They also can be shut off by banging against something.

My son was disappointed with his "ice cube". It glowed through lunch, he turned it off, and we haven't been able to get it to glow again.
We're trying to find out if there's a replaceable battery, but doesn't appear so.

We got some at Rose and Crown last August, and brought them home. We've used them off and on, and they're still going strong.

We've gotten one at the Sci Fi and at Coral Reef. Ours worked after we got home, but son left it on overnight and that was the end of the battery life. They are neat while they last though!

We got ours at Sci Fi. Our waiter showed us how to turn them on and off and said the battery life was 30 hours.
