Experiences with Tiffany Towncar

I don't know why so many members of DIS are obsessed with fake flights. You want an earlier pickup. Just tell the car service, or DME, you want an early pickup. Some people want to grab a bite to eat, shop or standby for stand by for an earlier flight. You want a later pickup. Just ask DME or your car service. If they ask no checked luggage and TSA pre.

A poster, on a different board, said a passenger who never missed a flight is a passenger who wasted too many hours in airports through the years.

Most of us don't share that opinion. Be careful if you cut it too close. One trip I spent 20 minutes going through security at MCO, using TSA pre line.

How much should you tip each driver? It’s $150 for a round trip; should I tip each driver $15 on the assumption that each leg is $75 and so $15 would be 20% of that leg?

Some people like give the driver you picks you up at MCO a little more, particularly if you have a grocery stop. Definitely if you go a few minutes over the allotted time. You can tip $20 coming and $10 going to MCO. Or you can tip $20 and $15 and decide $5 is more then fair for a 20 minute grocery stop.

No grocery stop. $15 each way works.

DOUBLE CHECK YOUR QUOTE Sometimes an automatic tip is added, generally a real limo but sometimes for other services. No reason to unintentionally double tip.

We used Tiffany Towncar about 2 weeks ago. Very good experience. We will use them again. I asked to change the time for resort pickup on our last day and they just changed the time, no problem. We did not do a grocery stop.

Big endorsement for Tiffany Towncar. We just used them for our trip May 9-18th. My husbands co-worker has been using them for 15 years and she has never had a problem.
They don’t charge your card until the day you arrive in case your trip gets cancelled etc.
They text you the day before your arrival and departure with a picture of the driver and where they will meet you. The driver texts you also to keep you informed day of. We had Renata on arrival day and Eddie on departure day and I can’t say enough good things about them both. Super friendly, knowledgable, efficient, on time. Their cars were super clean and comfortable.
Because of a room issue, we changed resorts after only 2:nights. A quick phone call to Tiffany and they made the change instantly and all was good. We will now be using them for every trip to Disney or Universal or anywhere in the Orlando area. Getting to and from our resort was never easier! Goodbye DME, hello Tiffany!

We have been using Tiffany for almost a decade. Absolutely no issues. They are timely and professional. They actually pay attention to who they are picking up and repeat offenders like us. We use them 3-4 times per year (except during covid). We have only had 2 drivers during that decade. They always remember when we were there last. They must look it up.

Thanks for all of this information! In the past, I have used Mears to travel between MCO and the Dolphin resort. Can anyone please compare their experience with Tiffany vs. Mears?

We had to add an extra day on to the front end of our trip due to flight times and could not get an extra day on our rental. So we used Tiffany Town Car on May 12th from MCO to AKL. Tiffany Town Car was fantastic. I called when our connection was delayed by an hour and they changed our pickup with no issue. The driver was fantastic. I’ll definitely use them again.

We have used Mears and Tiffany. Both are really good. We used Tiffany this time because they were cheaper and offer the grocery stop. Mears charges you.

We always used Tiffany pre Magical Express days and just used them again twice this past trip. They are still as wonderful now as they were then. I texted our driver a few hours prior to our pickup and asked if he could come earlier (Disney Caribbean Resort to Universal Hard Rock) and he said no problem.

We used them for the first time on our trip May 23-29th, staying at the Swan. They met us outside (so not waiting inside with a sign), but they were helpful and quick, and the cars were clean -- it was great. Would highly recommend.

What store do they stop at for the grocery stop? TIA. I am unfamiliar with places outside of WDW.

For me its always been Publix, one time our flight was delayed by a good amount, Publix was closed so our driver took us to CVS, which was really great of him to do.

I have used them several times, and even ask for Eddie as our driver. He is always on time with a clean fast ride to our hotel.

We used them for the first time last week for MCO to BWV. Their communication was really great! We got a text the morning of with our driver's name (Eddie) and a picture. Then, once we landed, the driver texted me which baggage carousel our luggage would be at and where to meet him outside.

We also had a very pleasant (and quick!) ride to BWV. We didn't need a grocery stop so I can't comment on that.

We will definitely be using them again on our future trips!
