What are the experiences on the cruise you have to pay extra? eg alcoholic drinks, of course, breakfast with the characters? which other?

Unless it has changed, breakfast with the characters is free (but you do have to get tickets)

I usually budget for a spa visit.

Popcorn at the movie theater? Gee, that seems weird! How much do they charge?

I don't recall, but if you get the bucket, you can get refills for cheaper. And bring it back on subsequent cruises and fill for the refill price. Also, this isn't just at the movie theatre but also at the theatre where you watch the stage shows.

You CAN do the whole cruise and not pay and extra penny but...as already stated there are enhanced experiences and activities that cost extra. We have done cruises and the only extra money we spent was on souvenirs and room service tips. But our most recent cruises we have done the most basic island tours which are well worth it to see the island away from the cruise terminals.

We did a 4 day once where we decided to spend nothing over the cruise fare other than gratuities. We had a blast, and a LOT of pocket money left over afterward.

Where and when do you sign up for breakfast with the characters? TIA:thanks:
You can sign up usually when you first get on the ship (or anytime until they run out) at guest services. Occasionally they may add one later if one fills up unexpectedly fast but best to go early if you want a spot guaranteed.

52. Upcharges for some foods in Palo (Miyazaki beef) and Remy (the truffle experience) (in addition to the charge to eat at the restaurant)
53. Bar food in some lounges

Not Wagyu beef - it's on the menu - the upcharge is for Miyazaki beef. 2 oz. for $55 or 4 for $110. It is the best beef I have ever tried. Miyazaki beef is a very special type of Japanese Wagyu, better than Kobe beef, and is raised by only a few farmers in the Miyazaki Prefecture.
