Experience with changing Palo Ressie?

I made ressie for Palo brunch and dinner online. I know I can change them when I get on the ship. I also know that the online system is not extremely stable (from my own experience as well as from other posts). Here is my question...

Anyone out there cancel their online ressie and then reschedule a new one online? My concern is that the system will still think I am at my max ressie even after I cancel the one night.

THANKS!

I was able to cancel and immediately rebook. Of course, the risk is in that there is no other availability. Fortunately (for me), I am on the 9/29 cruise that no one else seems to be on, so I knew that availability was not really an issue. Good luck...

OK, just a touch off topic, but I am interested comment the OP made about "max ressies". Someone please fill me in. We haven't cruised with DCL before but will be on April 30 in a category 3 cabin. Is there a limit to the number of ressies that I can make on line? I know that we must be paid in full before we request ressies, but I assumed that if we chose to dine at Palo every night we'd be able to. We don't plan to, but now I'm wondering just how the ressie system works.

Unfortunately, you're only allowed one dinner reservation for Palo's during your cruise, because its a small resteraunt, and they want to insure that everyone who wants to dine there may. So the big question is when do you want to do Palo's, and you try and get "your" day. On the 7-day you are allowed one dinner, one brunch and one high tea resservation.

I've heard of getting around this by linking with another couple so that you go once on their reservation and once on your own, but I don't know how this would work as I never tried it.

I think it makes Palo more special, actually, a one-time Event during the trip.

You are only able to make one reservation for dinner, brunch and tea on-ine. BUT only being allowed one dinning experience for dinner in Palo per cruise is not the case. Many are able to get on a waiting list, are called when there is space and do dine more than once at dinner. Being in a Cat. 3, however, gives you a slight advantage. Your concierge staff many times are able to secure you additional times at Palo. Every night? You can give it a try, but most likely not EVERY night.
