Experience with Antabuse???

Does anyone have any experience with the drug Antabuse, or other drugs like it? If it's too personal, please PM me.

I had a friend who took it. He got really violently ill from drinking with it. If you know someone considering it,please make sure they are truly not going to drink.

I read the effects it has when alcohol is consumed, it doesn't sound pretty...

AA meetings or other counseling would be a must while taking it...

If you know someone who is on it and they are thinking of drinking, make sure they take the drink really close to the hospital, like outside the hospital emergency room doors.

What the drug does is stop the liver from processing alcohol, so if someone drinks while on it, the body can't process it and they over dose. If that person drinks enough, it is possible for them to die, although I'm not sure at what level that would be.
