Experience with Allegiant Air?

Was looking at a quick trip for my family. Was told about Allegiant air.

Can someone tell me if the fares that are published now for the end of August ever go on sale?

Also, what was your experience?

Can't tell you about sale fares, they have only just started in my area so there is no track record on fares.

A couple of other DISers have just posted on thier experiences with Allegiant and seem to be pleased with them. I have not used them yet, but would like to. Sanford is only about 15 minutes from my FL house and that would be extremely convenient! (Worcester, on the other hand is about an hour or so from my MA house)
