We use Amtrak to get to WDW but have a car service pick us up at the Kissimmee Station and we're granted a 30 minute grocery stop. I told the company before hand we required food and alcohol, no problem. In route there is a Publix's and a liquor store next door. It's just the wife and I but we pre-list what we need and want and she gets one list and I the other and we can be out of the store in record time. She usually waits at the deli counter getting the lunchmeats and cheeses and I run around the store for beer, wine, pop, breads, pickles and chips and meet at the check out. While she's checking out I run next door to the liquor store and get our favorite libations and the car service driver helps with the bags. We love it and it's become part of our tradition, we like seeing what we're getting. Publix's prices are pretty good and nothing beats a homemade salami and ham sandwich, chips, pickles and olives and potato salad at the pool washed down with a couple of beers. Heck, we buy buns and do the food court double meat burger, take a bun from the room and make 2 burgers out on the double and there's plenty of fries to share.
