Experience using walk up with Landry's Card at TRex and Yak & Yeti?

According to their website, this only applies to groups of 6 or less. We will be a party of 9 with a one being an infant. Any success with a larger group?

We have used it at TRex and Rainforest Cafe as a party of 10 and 9 and they always seat us very quickly, within 10 minutes.

The one night at TRex,it was either a Friday or Saturday night and the outside of the restaurant was mobbed with people waiting, they were telling everyone else that walked up it was an hour wait. My party of ten waited 10 minutes! It was great!

Most tried and true tale of using the Landry Club membership at Yak and Yeti, mid afternoon, oh, 4:00 or so.
Walked in on Thanksgiving Day last year, they were quoting over an hour wait (since they always take walk ups)
Lobby so full you could barely walk in single file
Walked in, told them I was Landry Club (no card shown, I don't have one, just provide my phone number when I pay) and put us in front of the line and we were seated in a couple of minutes. Folks were FUMING! mad too. I heard the commotion behind us after our name was called so fast.
Yes, we felt guilty but only slightly. I can't help that they didn't know or didn't sign up and use the club that Landry's has in place. We weren't breaking any rules or otherwise taking advantage of something.

I haven't noticed this at Disney, but in some of the Landry's restaurants in Chicago, the seater will call out, "Landry's Select Member ____, your table is ready." This lets the folks waiting know why you are getting preferred seating and also advertises the loyalty program.

Had no issues with my group of 7 a few weeks ago.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna give it a shot! Thanks guys

I'm wondering how successful others have been with walk-up seating at TRex and Yai & Yeti using the Landry's card.

Depends on # in party. We were seated very soon after registering, but we are a party of 2. The next available table for your party's # will usually go to you (or in the case others have been waiting also, you will be in line). We never made ressies.

We are a party of 7, I just called Yak and Yeti directly and was given a reservation for the exact time I wanted. Saying that, in the past I have used it for a party of 8 at the restaurant ( without calling in advance) with no issues.

And I can use my welcome rewards for adult beverages? We will be on the DDP. Oh and my birthday is the end of this month, so if I sign up now, will I get a birthday reward as well?

I love that card! You can also use it at Landry's casinos. last week we went to Golden nugget and got points for our stay and food! was able to earn 2 rewards.
