Experience ordering cakes with Peanut Allergy ?

I've seen the cake thread and loved them. I've been on DisAbilities and have had great experiences with Disney accomodating the allergy.

I'm hoping to hear about if anyone has experienced ordering one of these beautiful cakes so that they are peanut free. I tried once at the Grand Floridian and was disappointed - it was so plain !

When I inquired, we were told the cakes were all made in the same facility with nuts and that they could not guarantee the safety of any bakery items.
(We deal with a peanut and tree nut allergy, so it might make a difference...)
We just decided not to take a chance, but I would love to hear if there is a way to get one that would be safe...

You will hear many talk of Brenda Bennett, if she is still in charge of WDW dining with allergy accomodations, perhaps contacting her would help. If she is still the contact person, I know there are many threads on the Disabilities Board that have the info. on it.
