Experience getting FP+ at extra ticketed events

What are your experiences with getting FP+ at extra ticketed events such as MNSSHP, MVMCP, DAH, etc? I mean before the event starts (I believe they let you in at 4 for MNSSHP when the park closes at 6, they let you in around 7 for DAH when the park closes at 9, etc). I know I’ve heard if you try to get FP+ for these tickets there are problems with later FPs being deleted. How do you avoid that? Can you put the special event tickets on an account separate from your regular account (so they aren’t linked to your normal ticket)?

It would just be nice to have FP+ at those events. FOP would especially be nice at AK DAH. Thanks in advance!

The "problem with later FPs being deleted" is a phenomenon that has not been reported in awhile. It bubbled up for awhile but has generally been a non-issue in more recent times.

Just buy your party tickets or DAH tickets on a separate MDE account and you avoid the problem of possibly having your FPs deleted.
