Hi Everyone!

We just got back in December and I know I had so many questions before going as to what to expect especially with it being my daughter's 5th Birthday celebration. The Breakfast & lunch were booked so I took dinner. We also had done the Storybook Lunch at Epcot ( I recommend). Upon arrival Cindy was in Lobby for photos.

You are then taken to your seats. Shortly after your meal is served the "short show" begins. You now find yourself letting your food sit & get cold as you have to have camera & video ready as you do want to capture this special moment for your little one. The mice are fluttering around quickly and stopping very quickly at tables which is why I was anxiously waiting with camera ready.

Naturally if you are not there for a celebration and just for dinner then you can continue to eat & enjoy show. The Godmother sings this Birthday song in which I thought names would be directly mentioned and they weren't. She just stood behind my daughter I guess to acknowledge it was her Birthday.

I felt at the cost & in the "Castle" that they could have at least stated the names of the Birthdays being celebrated. The show ended and then it seemed there was a hurry to finish meal as they wanted to do dessert. I added on the slipper dessert and it was nothing special upon bringing it meaning they served as a regular dessert.

My daughter did think it was special though & that is what counts

It would have been nice if Godmother served it. After that it seemed they were clearing tables and ready for next round of people to come in. We would have enjoyed with less rush and perhaps some more special attention to the Birthday celebrations. The Godmother did not even pose in a picture with my daughter. Just got lucky with her behind my daughter with the Birthday song. I hope this helps some that may have questions about the experience. Overall my daughter was in "Awe" & that is what matters so it was special for her! princess:

I LOVE that photo w/ her hugging Cinderella!! ADORABLE!!! We did dinner for the P&P party, and we never even saw the mice and godmother, she never came in the whole time we were there eating. I was disappointed, not sure what happened. But the kids were happy. I desperately want to get breakfast on DD birthday, but it is booked up already.

Thanks so much for the post. We actually got this ADR for our last night. It should be pretty magical to end our trip there followed by the fireworks.

How did you order the slipper and how much extra was it? I think the girls would LOVE that dessert b/c of the fruit (plus of course it is a slipper!).

Your dd is beautiful!

Hi,
Thanks so much. Please pardon my DD's bangs being scalped.... Story behind that is she decided 2 weeks before Disney to trim them herself. :sad2: Ohhh I was so upset when she did it but now I actually can laugh about it.

Call this # for CRT 407-824-7091. I called in advance & added it. I believe it was like $12.99 & they just added the cost to our bill that day.

Beautiful pictures! Your DD looks like she was very happy.

I am planning this for my gang in August before the P&PP. The girls have a BBB appt that morning so they will be all princessed up. Anyway, I have been thinking & rethinking this adr since it is 2 TS credits & it doesn't really seem like a true character meal. My girls are 11 & 6 & have eaten at the castle before so I am not sure what to do...also we are not celebrating anyones birthday this trip. hmmmmm:confused3

Well thank you for posting your experience. Your DD is adorable!

Thank you!! :) If your girls have eaten at the castle then I would try & save your credits & go elsewhere. I do not think you will be missing much. It is such a shame especially with the cost & being at the CASTLE. I do not think it is WRONG that we expect MORE! Disney needs to improve this dinner.

Wow! Gorgeous! Someone looks extremely happy in those pictures.

Thanks so much for sharing them, I can't wait to take my little princess. Hopefully soon!

Aww! Those pictures are so cute.

Lovely Photos enjoyed reading :goodvibes

Your DD is adorable with Cindy! Our slipper dessert wasn't served like that at all at Narcoosee's. I ordered it for DD and it was served with the chocolate mousse on the side, too, and Happy Half-Birthday ______ on it written in dark chocolate. There were raspberries on top of the mousse in the slipper, but no fruit all around the outside. :confused3 I swear the shoe itself looked different, too, but maybe not.

Is the photo package (i.e. of the pics taken when you first enter the restaurant) included in the price of the dinner?

Your DD is so beautiful, and if you hadn't mentioned her bangs I wouldn't even have noticed!! Trust me, the story and the laugh will last forever!! In my family, we say "Perfect is way over-rated!!"

Thanks for posting such great photos!! Your daughter is simply adoreable in her photos, costume...etc. I bet its an experience she will never forget.

Speaking of that...many years ago when I was a single mom with two lovely young men, we traveled to Disney. I really had to pinch pennys and I did so for months before we went. I personally had always wanted to do the castle breakfast just to see what it was like. Soooo, I managed to get a reservation and had to drag the two boys along. (tee hee hee) They did NOT want to eat in the castle! They said it was a girl thing. The funny thing about it was every single princess came by and kissed each one of them on the cheek. They both had at least 6-7 sets of lipstick prints on them by the time we left. They both scowled the entire time...ROFL...I will never forget it. My older one tells people he is still in therapy over it...lol FTR, they are now 13 and nearly 17. This was in 2001 when we went.

I'm so glad you had a great time there, I thought it was beautiful inside and I truly enjoyed myself the one time I managed to go :goodvibes

ps..I too cut my bangs when I was about 5 or 6 but my hair was nearly black so it stuck out like a sore thumb..I wouldn't have even noticed your DD had you not mentioned it...she is a cutie patootie!
