Expensive Disney FOOD.... NOT?!?!

Have a question, when you say slice of pizza, you mean a plain old 1/8 of the whole pizza slice. Not the mini ones you can get at pizzafari or other CS places?

I don't doubt that anyone can eat 4 slices of plain cheese pizza, I know I can. I jut cannot believe it was $8 a slice???!

Does slice mean the same thing to you as it does to me?

I do great at WDW CS without a dining plan if I skip the dessert and order water (I don't want the dessert anyway). So it's also legitimate to compare the cost of the food without the dining plan. It can still be better prices than some other parks or places with captive audiences.

Ok, I will not complian about how expensive Disney food is.

My DD went to SixFlags over GA today and spent $40 for: 4 slices of pizza, a coke and a water!

It is 5 pm central time and they are on their way home so that didnt even include dinner.

At Disney-

the CS plan at $35/day- she could have gotten: 2 counter service meals with drink and desert, 2 snacks, and a refillable mug

the basic DP at $46/day- 1 counter service meal with drink and desert, 1 table service with entree, desert and drink and 1 snack

SO.... GEEZ!!!! Guess all of us Disney food lovers should be thankful!

Except, wouldn't it take (4) CS credits to get (4) large slices, though that would also include fours deserts, snacks and drinks, too. So, to get (4) snacks and (2) extra drinks probably wouldn't have cost more than another $25-$35 at Six flags. So Six Flags looks to be about HALF the cost of Disney when you compare a la carte at Six Flags to Disney's DP. Disney would be about $140 for (4) CS credits vs. about $65-$75 for the above at Six Flags. Maybe I'm missing something or made a mistake? I guess I could be off base on this...just got done mowing the lawn, and it's hot, hot, hot.

That said, you are absolutely RIGHT that all this theme park food is uber-expensive, though perhaps more for our waistlines, lol! This year we're skipping the park food almost the entire trip with a very exceptions. I've worked really hard to drop from 235lb to 169lb @ 6ft, over the last year or so, and I don't intend to let Disney Pooh-size me again!
