I chickened out of this ride the last time I went to WDW. I couldn't see enough of the layout to make me think I could do it. This time I have decided it is a must. It is sudden drops I don't like and the long slow climb at the start just makes me more nervous than ever. I love RnR, Hulk, Duelling Dragons as they are all twists and turns.

I did try ToT many years ago but didn't like the feeling of my stomach touching my tonsils.

So my question is are there any sudden drops on EE?

If I remember rightly from July 2010 the only big drop is the one you see coming out of the mountain - all the bits inside are tight bends mainly in the dark!! and I mean pitch black!! I am not one at all for roller coasters but I had made a deal with my 8 year old that if he did spiderman at universal then I would do everest!! pretty sure I came worse off

i love this ride but cant do duelling dragons so i think you might be ok, i also cant do hulk as they scare me!

Thank you for the links. Think I could cope with the drop coming out of the mountain as long as the people that were screaming was because it was dark and not drops.

I'm not brave - have been on duelling dragons when younger a few times with my eyes shut but will never go on the hulk.

Went on EE in October. I would go on again - bit I didn't like was the bit when it went backwards.

I really don't like a slow climb and long first drop (cried on the big one at blackpool yrs ago - DH still teases me) and don't remember anything like that on EE.

Thats more or less my sentiments exactly.

I'm a total wimp on rides.... I always imagine the worst possible things happening on them lol.

I remember standing staring at EE thinking that there was no way I'd ever do it. DF made me queue up for it, after spending a long time trying to convince me to go on it.

The longer we waited the more panicky I got. Once we were sat in the seat all I kept saying was 'I wanna get off, I don't want to do this' over and over again - however once your sat in the seat it's apparently too late to change your mind.

I had to force myself to keep my eyes open and low and behold - I SURVIVED!

I rode it a few more times that day I it's now my fave ride. The drops not so bad really, it lasts seconds. I'd say thats the only real drop, so go for it. You wont regret it.

I find the drop on Splash VERY scary!

I'm a huge wuss and won't go on anything that tips me upside down but I love EE. I was very apprehensive the first time but was sort of reassured by the fact that there was only a lapbar. Well, I LOVED it - it's now my favourite ride at WDW.

Oh thank you so much for that comment. I had just assumed I wouldn't do EE but I quite like BTMRR and will force myself to do Splash Mountain - see Tag!

Now I'll give this one ago - but be warned - I will come back and haunt you if die!

The only big drop is the one you can see and it isn't as steep as it looks.

I find it weird that people are worried about coasters like Hulk and DD as you are strapped in! you are not gonna go anywhere lol

I wont go on Splash mountain or Jurassic park but anything else doesn't me, which is weird

I was like you had palpitations but did it with my eyes shut.This is someone who hates heights. It is a good ride.The worst bit for me was the incline. And try TOT again believe me it is nowhere near as bad. I forced myself to do everything this year as dd dad used to go on rides with her but DB first trip and I wasnt gonna look a chickenThey have changed it in the last 4 years as it doesnt leave your stomach in your mouth anymore.I actally did it 3 times.Also did aerosmith which I said Id never do. god I got through some diazapam that holiday and brandy but worth every minute. Also rip shaw falls I did and that drop is no where near as bad as Splash mountain. I agree could never do hulk I would come off lookin like him
