Total agreement here. I just got back; I rode it 6 times and would have liked to ride it a few more. It's my new favorite ride, and the new favorite ride of 2 of my 3 kids (the 6 and 9 year olds; oldest still likes RnR best, but this is her 2nd fave).
Same here....Just got back from 10 days. Rode EE Wednesday Evening EMH. The Yeti at the end of the ride is the most realistic thing I've ever seen from any Animatronic device. The backwards sequence in the dark is very cool.
Rode it last Wednesday right before EMH ended, and loved it. Question though-- is the Yeti supposed to be plainly visible with bright lights on him? In ride videos I'd seen, it was dark and you could barely see him.

A. A fully LIT cavern with the Yeti in plain view (I've only seen this one on the several times I've ridden EE).
B. A very DARK cavern with the Yeti deep in the shadows.
I've heard that the dark setting is if the animatronics are having problems.
Don't know for sure, but there have been plenty of folks who have ridden thru with only a dimly-lit view of the Yeti.
Thanks for the info, Robo. I was expecting it to be dark and shadowy, so to see Mr. Yeti lit up like a Christmas tree was rather surprising. My first thought was there was an error and it wasn't supposed to be lit so brightly; seemed like it would've been scarier in the dark based on the videos. Either way, I loved it and was happy to get to ride it.
