I'm a slight roller-coaster chicken...I like the mountains but not Rockin' Roller Coaster, and I have never been on Tower of Terror. So do you think I can do it? Anyone that has already been on it, what do you think? How does it compare to the splash mountain drop....Because I don't think I could handle much more than that!!! :confused3

Can I also ask about the part that goes backwards? Is it for most of the ride or does it turn back around at some point? :flower3:

Forwards mostly but fast - its about as good as it gets for a non-looping fully enclosed coaster.

My friend just got back less than a week ago and her 5 year old daughter rode EE and loved it! They said it was great, and not TOOO intense! :thumbsup2

Just went two weeks ago and loved it! I was a little afraid because the climb up looks very high and it is high when you are on the ride, but the ride was actually much smoother than I had expected and much smoother than splash mountain or big thunder mountain. I actually thought the train started out a little bit slow. There were no drops on it that were stomach churning drops. Definitely worth it!

Thanks for asking the question -- I can handle BTMRR & Splash, but NOT Space Mountain or just about any other "serious" 'coaster. I hope I can handle this one!

The drop is more mild than Splash. Maybe a little more wild than Big Thunder. But definitely not as intense as Rock'n Roller Coaster. In fact, I didn't realize we had already gone down the big drop until we pulled into the station and I realized the ride was over. If you can do the other mountains I think you'll like EE.

I was really scared about going backwards, but it wasn't bad. You don't go backwards for very long. My husband does not like drops and he thought the drop was not as bad as Splash Mountain.

The ride was wonderful! I really enjoyed it. It was not super scarey or the kind of coaster that takes your breath out of you! It was fun! The view from the top of the first incline in really great but you have to remind yourself to take a quick peak around.

The backwards part is a bit wild. You pause briefly before you start backwards and the anticipation is intense, especially if you know you are going to go backwards.

I only got to ride it one time and I am looking forward to doing a few times in a row on the next trip. I had my parents with me and they loved riding it. The operators said they were the oldest to ride it so far.

We were in the back and the ride was still very smooth. :thumbsup2

Matt, it's considered a "soft opening" so it's presently available, just not guaranteed. I heard the official grand opening is 4/7 though.

We aren't big fans of drops on roller coasters and we had no problem with this one. We thought it was a great ride and will definately go on it again sometime.

We rode it many, many times on passholder weekend, and it is just great. The scariest part is the climb up to the top. The falls are so quick, they're over before you know it. But that climb is really something. Going backwards is pretty heart-racing, but exciting.

I videoed the whole thing twice. Once from the left seat, once from the right. People around me couldn't believe I wasn't holding on, but it is not a rough ride - really smooth.
