Here's the thing. My aunt and uncle went to Disney a few weeks ago, my uncle did everest twice and LOVED it. Now my cousin and her family went last week, they said that everest stunk. I just want to know everyone's opinion of the new ride. Our trip is coming up soon and I wanted to know if it would be worth arranging our schedule.
Thanks for your participation!!!

I just hope it isn't too crowded when you go or when we get back to AK. I got to ride it during the soft opening in Feb and I swear they did not have the anamatronic Yeti in yet ... I SWEAR it wasn't there!! I would love to ride it again. It was lots of fun. :yay:

Where is the, "I CAN'T WAIT TO RIDE THAT THING!!!!!" option? :)
Hmmmmm....I didn't think of that one.....I like it though....

Where's the option for:
An even once was enough for me.
:goodvibes

Absolutely! You must ride EE. We rode it twice one day along with other rides, then made a special trip back to AK a few days later to ride it once more and then we left Ak to go to another park. While it might seem a waste of time to go back to AK just for one ride, it really was lots of fun. :)

Well, we would probably make it a point to open AK one morning just to do that ..... then of course there is Kali river rapids, and dinosaur, and lion king, the safari.......

Well after reading the result so far.......I can say my cousin is nuts!!!!

May 16, 2006....about 4:30 in the afternoon, it's raining as we approach the entrance to AK. It's my first time on EE...I am more than a bit nervous, don't like heights, don't particularly like rollar coasters, but I am giving in to severe peer pressure.....very sad to see in a 56 y/o woman. Anyway....by the time the park closed, at 6:00, I had ridden EE 14 times, in rapid succession. Yep, I loved it. We got to EE, got on with about a 10 minute wait...must have been due to the lateness of the hour and the drizzle. We just kept getting off, charging through the preride area, hopping back on. Got to ride in the front car on my third trip. On the last run, they finally shut the attraction door behind us...last ones on. We had an entire section of car to ourselves!!!
Everyone should try it at least once!!!

I loved it, can't wait to ride it again!

I was very nervous about this ride but ended up loving it. You go fast, and backwards, and at one point its hard to tell if you are going upside down (I was told we were not). I loved it and we rode it 3 times in one day. Get there right when the park opens, and also grab a fast pass at that time. We also rode again at the end of the day with a pretty short line, I think only 15 minutes. My kids, 12 & 14, rated it as their favorite ride of all. In fact, everyone we talked to loved the ride, and we had an older couple by us in line one time (probably late 60s) and after the ride they said they loved it, too. It doesnt bump you around too much, its really great.

I love EE, and I am not your typical roller coaster person. However, I do love the roller coasters at Disney. This is awesome, just try it!! :thumbsup2

My opinion. Try everything at least once. If you didn't like it or care for it, don't do it again. If you liked it or loved it, keep going back. Everyone's different.

BTW,,, I LOVED EE!!!

For Disney, it is a really good rollercoaster. For any other amusement park, it is very tame.

It is interesting, but the pauses are...I don't know the word. Rollercoasters - thrill rides - aren't supposed to have breaks. It is like the ride pauses to go out for a smoke, then comes back.

I really like it - and think it is a great addition to AK - but I don't absolutely love it. I wish that Disney would make up its mind. If they are going to have a thrill ride, make it thrilling! If not, then just make a ride.

...that's just me.
