Hi,

just wondering if someone can tell me about expedition everest? Is it a scary, fast, motion sickness inducing kind of ride  ? I get motion sickness and I am scared of really fast rides but it looks so good so I'm hoping I would be able to ride it!!! Please tell me all about it and if it has made you feel yuck at all! Thanks

We went in October and it is fast, scary(for kids) and may cause motion sickness if you are prone to getting motion sickness very quickly. The ride goes BACKWARD for about 20 seconds before it goes forward again. It is very fast with some good G forces.

I get very motion sick on rides like the teacups, tilt-a-whirls, etc. This didn't give me a chance to get moption sick. I rode it three times in a row within 15 minutes and I was DONE. A little out of sorts from the repretitive G's.

My rule is try anything once! This ride is so good, it deserves you taking a chance. The detail and technology is amazing. It is mu new favorite Disney ride!

We rode in Oct. My DH gets really motion sick, but rode 2 times in one morning, and it didn't seem to bother him.

The backwards part tickles your tummy, but it is soooo fun!!

My dd rode it in Sept, she's 12 and got sick and we have to go back to the hotel at 1pm...the day was ruined.
