I am 55 years young and have always avoided roller coasters ... well most of them. I love Big Thunder Mountain RR but found Splash Mountain a bit daunting ... rode it but had palpitations as we approached the drop at the end of the ride ... then loved it!
In October I decided to conquer this life-long fear and ride the coasters. Loved Rock n Roller Coaster at the Studios and tolerated Space Mountain well(the darkness and that harness in RRC is comforting) but never made it to Animal Kingdom so didn't have a chance to try Everest. I took a look at pics and noticed that there is only a lap bar and at least some of the ride is outside. Is this a wild ride? We are going again
later this month and wonder if my 55 year old heart is up to the challenge. Any thoughts?

I went on EE for the first time last year and did not get that "oh, no" feeling at all. It was smooth and short in my opinion. Short is good for me, believe me. I came out of the ride with a huge smile on my face and my DH was so proud of me
