I cant surely be the first to post this, but as it wasn't on the first page..

(Sorry if I am reapeating other posts)

26th-29th January previews for DVC members...lucky them! Check the article on Allears.net

http://allearsnet.com/tp/ak/ak_ee.htm

I was reading and very noticeably this did not mention AP holders. This is concerning.

You know I thought it was odd that it was just DVC members.

I'm sure there will be an AP preview, but this is a special perk for the DVC'ers (who in fact really "own" - OK lease - a chunk of WDW).

There are a lot more AP'ers than DVC'ers, and since this is so early, I'm sure they want to keep the numbers down at first.

Right, you "lease", stockholders "own". Everyone else.........well we are just puppets :rotfl:

Yes i heard the same thing from a co-worker who is a DVC person to. However, she saw that she and her husband will miss it because their next
trip to Disney is in March.

Well, I'm DVC with an AP, so it tickets wouldn't cost anything. Now, if I could find a cheap hotel, I could sneak down for the weekend. I just got back less than a week ago so I don't need to go back, but I'm imagining the lines won't be that long. How crazy is it to think of going back again already. Do I really want to drive that far? Who could I take with me since I don't want to go by myself?

Too cool!

We're hoping that there may be some soft openings in April when we go. That would be great!

So when we go in June will it officially be open to the public? I can't wait to ride, I assume it will be a Fastpass attraction?

Lesley

I just pray that some of those fortunate ones will let a few of us non DVC members tag along? ;)

::yes:: what she said.. how can I justify the cost of airfare .:scratchin ..

We'll be there! Getting the email notice was one of the highlights of my week! I'm wondering how busy the crowds could possible be. We have been in January the past 2 years and the crowds already are quite thin, but then when its narrowed down to to just DVC, I can't imagine (hoping not to jinx it) that its going to be all that swamped. Anyone else have experience with these types of soft openings?

Remember with Soarin' the DVC soft open was AFTER guest soft opens.....

I am really hoping that we will get to ride this on our 1/27-2/7 trip!! We are not DVC or AP holders, but rode Mission Space it seemed like 2 months before it officially opened. We learned all about it here on the DIS.

I am especially hoping to get to ride this because Disney feels sorry for those of us going then (1/27-2/7) because they have closed Buzz, and Test Track and even Splash at the beginning of our trip :(

LOL, You're not the only ones hoping someone at Disney takes pity on those of us who are missing Buzz and TT! Though now it looks like we may to move our mid-January trip to late January or early February....hmmmm.

We're there from 1/12 -1/16! It would be sweet if they have a few rides prior to any DVC/AP opening. I can't afford to fly down for the weekend when DVC'ers can ride :(

Same here. It's my teenage cousin's first trip to WDW and I'm bummed she's going to miss out!
