Sorry, I have no idea what dress size I wear ;), but I am Pooh sized. I'm 6'3" 340lbs with a 52" waist. Wow, did I just admit all that in a public forum? Anyway, I had no problem with E:E at all. It uses a lap bar similar to that on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Thanks !! that eased my mind. I would hate to dissapoint my son who is looking forward to this in 34 days!!! I cant wait to do it!!!! thanks again

Hi, Another GREAT feature about EE is SEPERATE lap bars(great for those of us with SKINNY kids!) and high head rests! Have fun, I LOVED this one, and I am NOT a rollercoaster person. Joan

I'm a size 22 and was wondering if there are any rides that I won't be able to fit on in any of the parks. This has happened to me in the past at Dollywood. It was very embarrasing.

I would appreciate your input.

:tinker:

I never had ANY problems on the rides... occasionally a turnstyle was tight but then I went through the stroller/handicap turnstyle (like at Pirates). I weigh 319.

I'm a 24/26, with most of my weight in hips and rear, and I fit on ALL the rides and attractions. Some of the turnstiles can be a bit of a squeeze, and some theater seats are a bit narrow, but you should be fine.

My wife and I were there in April and we are both pooh sized. I am a hair over 6 foot and wieghed about 320 at the time. I fit with plenty of room to spare. I was able to get he bar engaged 5-6 "clicks" without any problem and had plenty of "wiggle" room. Decorum prevents me for listing my wife's size but she had even more room than I did. The split bars are fantastic!
Hope you and your son enjoy the trip! :cool1:

There has been much discussion about larger-sized adults "fitting" into Expedition Everest seats.

Back in late January of this year, EE previewed to the public for the first time (limited to AP holders and DVC guests).

At that time, the lap-bar restraints had only "one click" to lock into position, and that one position was very low and VERY SNUG into the lap.

Many Pooh-sizers had trouble getting the bar to lock into position and some had to try to lock the bar first, then attempt to "slither" down into the seat with that bar pressing hard into their mid-sections.

I was THERE at that time (late Jan. '06), rode EE several times, and personally witnessed how the lap-bars worked and how the guests had to maneuver themselves to fit in the cars.

Since that preview there have been lots of questions as to whether Disney had made further adjustments to the restraint system.
But nobody seemed to be able to say FOR SURE that there had actually been any physical changes made.

WELL, GOOD NEWS:

I just returned on May 24, 2006 from 8 days at WDW and can say without question that:

YES, they DID change the restraint system!
There are now MANY lock-position "clicks" on that lap-bar and it can be considered LOCKED at a much "wider and roomier" position than the first timers experienced.

So, EE is now VERY FRIENDLY to Pooh-sized guests... even quite large and tall.

I wanted everyone to know that from someone who experienced the "before" and "after" of the EE restraints.

This means EE joins the other attractions at WDW that are accommodating to adults of virtually any size!

(Except I wouldn't want to try to fit more than ONE big guy at a time in one of those darn TEACUPS!) :goodvibes

I just returned yesterday. I'm 6'6" and pretty large. I had no problems getting on EE. I got about 5 clicks on the lap bar. You shouldn't be worried. Have fun!

Thanks for all the info about rides for pooh sized people like myself. I am thankful that Disney does such a wonderful job accommodating. We will be visiting WDW next July, we cant wait! :thumbsup2
