I know there are vehicles outside the ride itself to test if you can fit on it, but I'd like to know if any big guys have been on the ride and fit ok.
I'm 6'6'' and 350 lbs. I fit fine on everything else at Disney and was just curious.

There is a sample seat right behind the shop by the ride. I made it to the yellow line and was scared through the entire line that I wouldnt fit. When I got in the seat I got it to click 2 times so I was happy. Very smooth ride.

My guess is that your long legs will be the issue, but you should fit. The lap bars are individual, and they are shaped like an upside down U. I don't think you will have a problem fitting, but the U is sort of narrow considering you will have to sit with your knees apart b/c of the leg room. You will fit, but you will have to do a little extra wiggling around just to get situated. It is a great ride, though, and you'll have lots of fun. We rode several times on our recent trip, and never saw anyone that didn't fit, and by comparison, in just one day at Universal, we saw at least two or three people that didn't fit on Hulk.

There isn't anything exactly like it, but. . . Imagine BTMRR, but with two individual lap bars instead of one for both riders to share. It really is better if there is a big size difference between riders (especially kids) since their bar can be pulled down farther. This does mean, however, that one "leg" of each lap bar is between you. My DH is 6'2", about 210, with an athletic build. Long legs and big, muscle-y thighs. (Can only wear baggy fit jeans) He sort of had to manuver to get his legs through, but that was mostly because the leg room is a little tight, and you know how long legged people have to sit with their knees apart in order to fit? In the end, though, I think if you fit on BTMRR (or RnR for that matter) you will fit just fine on EE. I feel sure there are plenty of "clicks" to accomodate different sized riders. And there are sample seats to ease your mind just in case. Have fun, it is an AWSOME ride!! :thumbsup2

Sorry, that's not a good comparison at all.

RnRC has "over-head" harnesses.

BTMRR's bars move "back and forth" toward the body.

EE's bars pull (in effect) DOWN tightly into the lap.

We were there during the DVC and AP Preview.
At that time the bars did NOT have "plenty of "clicks" to accomodate different sized riders"... and that was a real PROBLEM for some guests.

HOWEVER, there have been "reports" that said Disney and the coaster-maker have made ADJUSTMENTS adding to "the number of clicks" so that larger riders CAN be accomodated.

But I have no way of knowing if these "reports" (they were just from a couple of posters here) are true (and not just the "same rumor" info repeated from post-to-post.)

I hope they are true, but in all of the discussions about this "SIZE ISSUE" on EE, there are simply very few (really none) of first-hand reports from truly POOH-Sized riders (over 300-350 lb.) who have been (not been) on EE.

My DH is about 5'10 and about 320ish. He was able to ride EE. He did have to adjust his "weight" to sit over the bar, and the bar was only on like the first click, but he fit.
He was resonably comfortable as well. A lap bar is generally more comfortable for him then a shoulder harness as he is broad through the chest area as well.

He was comfortable enough that he plans on riding again this summer.
