We're headed to WDW next week and I'm so excited! We're dying to go on EE and I'm wondering what the best strategy is. Our party is me, DH and DS (15 months) so we will need to do baby swap for us to ride EE. So, what is the best way to do Everest? Go right there and ride when the park opens? Get Fastpasses and go back? Do the single rider line? Do baby swap? (do we both need fastpasses to do the baby swap?) I know someone here will know. Thanks for your help!

I would definitely head there first thing and first get a Fastpass and then ride. This way you can ride without a long wait in the a.m. and return later with your Fastpass (when it gets more crowded). This is what we have done in the past on Safari Ride. We rode EE on CM preview days in January (my Niece works and Dland and they let us ride! :cool1: We rode 3 times each!) WE LOVED IT!

Yes, you'll need a Fastpass for each rider, however, usually the baby switch entrance is the same entrance as the Fastpass and you'll only need the babyswitch to enter. We didn't use babyswitch in Jan., I don't think they had it yet. We just switched off within our party-the line was only about 20 mins. :cloud9:

I'm sure someone can answer who has actually used babyswitch on EE.

We didn't get to try the baby swap, so can't help there. But I did get to use the single riders "line". It was my first time riding as a "single rider" so don't know how it works for other rides but in April on EE I asked where the single riders line was and was given a ticket (similar to fastpass tickets) and went in through the fast pass line up to a point and then it branched off, single riders one way and fast passers another. It went really smoothly and never had more than a 10 minute wait.

:confused3 Would like to know about the "baby swap' also. My DD5 will be about 2 inches to short to ride EE. TIA

Hi. We did Babyswap during Easter Week. We all got in line (Fastpass Return Line) and informed the CM that we were doing Babyswap, as we had a 4yr old who was not riding....DH went on with the 2 older kids and the CM led me and shorty to a waiting area, after their ride was done, DH took the short daughter (LOL) and I got to ride with the other 2. So my 2 older kids got to ride 2x in a row!! Very cool!!! :thumbsup2
