Hi there, i'm brand new to the forum to hello to everyone!

I have found that in terms of pricings and convenience, expedia are the website for me when it comes to booking my Orlando trip. However, they only have dates up to the end of March currently.

Does anyone happen to know when expedia will be allowing people to book for the summer of 2017?

Alternatively, where are the best places to use for similar prices to the expedia hotel/flights packages?

Thanks for any help,
Rob.

Hi Rob

Have you looked at how much it would cost to book direct with Disney? They also do flight inclusive packages.

The cost of flights are only available from 11 months out from your date of travel - but I believe you can contact Disney and ask for a quote for flights to be added to your booking when prices become available, or book your own flights.

You could also try Travel City Direct (part of Virgin Holidays). I have come across a few people in the past who have booked with them, as the price has been competitive.

Travel City Direct & Thomas Cook have dates available through next year.

Thanks for the heads up.

As an additional, when is the best time of year in terms of shortest queues and least amount of people in the parks. [I know its always busy but just curiosity really] haha

We went for the first time in September 2014, and lines were quieter than we imagined they would be - just plenty of people about - hence why we have decided to go in September again this year.

We are still considering booking a trip for next year & thinking of October, again this seems to be a quieter period.

You could take a look at sites like Touring Plans, who have crowd calendars that go on crowd information on the past. This would give you a good idea of crowds at the times you are thinking of going.

I wouldn't tie yourself to just one or 2 companies. Look at all options, search on sites like Trivago to compare prices.
Hotels.com are the same company as Expedia but you also get 1 free night every 10 booked ontop of cashback with Quidco (or other cashback site)
Just now I am looking for 2 nights at Port Canaveral, Expedia & Hotel.com are quoting £168/nt compared to ebookers.com at £114/nt
Although I have used Hotels.com for a few hotels this year I still find them (and Expedia) often more expensive than other sites.

Thanks for the reply wayneg. I will definitely shop around what with the dates i'm looking at still being 17 months out.
