Quick question for those who booked through Expedia using the "flights and hotel" option.

We have received our confirmation email which lists our flight number, seat reservations etc. So far so good. But on the hotel part it has it listed as 2 rooms at Pop (which is right) but we don't have a hotel confirmation number?? I need to ring Pop to check that my request for connecting rooms has made it through to their end and not just got stuck in "Expedia world" but not sure how I can get them to check without a reservation number??

They should be able to look it up by your name, address and telephone number.
 
Hi,
I have booked with Expedia and when I log into "My Itineraries" it lists the hotel confirmation there together with flight confirmation etc. If yours is not there I would e mail them to check.

AS you have booked with a large TA,disney would not have you in there system yet,Expedia,thomas cook,Virgen ect block book rooms,then sell them on.They provide persons details closer to arrival.
Wouldn't worry as disney are always accommodating with requests even at check-in,

My hotel confirmation number(s) was added today :) One less thing to worry about.

Mick - Did you book flights through Expedia as well? It says to manage your booking only before you go, yet when I go on the Virgin atlantic website it says my name isn't on their system. I'll give it a couple of days since its been the bank holiday, but we were hoping to upgrade to premium econamy so I don't want to miss out on anything.

Yes I did book Virgin flights at the same time as my hotel. In the "My itineraries" section on Expedia it lists the following:

Expedia Itinerary No.
Expedia Booking ID (Flight)
Airline Ticket No.
VA cofirmation code
Hotel confirmation No.

You need the VA confirmation code to access your booking although I supplied Expedia with my VA Flying Club No. and when I logged in to my Flying Club Account the flight was already listed under future flights.

Has taken me all this time to log onto Virgin because it wanted my first and middle name in the "log in" section. And now when I view our booking on the Virgin website it has put peoples first names and middle names in as one! For example "Beckyjane", not how I put it in on Expedia at all! :scared1:
Think a quick call might have to be done tomorrow!

That happened to me as well when I booked this trip with VH. Even though I clearly gave them our 1st and middle names individually when I checked the booking they were joined together :scared1: I called them and they changed it but I did have to insist they do it as they kept telling me that it really didn't matter but I pushed them to do it as it would have meant that our tickets and passports wouldn't have been the same :scared1:

Virgin won't change it because I booked through Expedia, so I rung Expedia to get it changed over and they say on their system its right and everythings ok! :scared1: Stress! I don't want to get their and be told I can't fly because of an error on someone else's part! I insisted Expedia changed it but the guy went and spoke to his supervisor and apparently "it's fine". Time to ring Virgin again :confused:
 
Just in response to my PP, have now spoken to Virgin and they've said it's fine. So we'll see what happens I suppose! Feel a bit happier about it now though :thumbsup2
 
if you provide a middle name to Virgin then it always shows as one long name...its nothing to worry about. :)
