Here's how we organised our trip to the USA in June/July this year to try and save a few extra dollars.
We booked all our hotels through Expedia.com.au/Expedia.com/Zuji.com.au and Travelocity.com. This includes
Disneyland accomodation where we stayed at Fort Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Grand Californian (these three are amazing) and Paradise Pier.
Did not have a single problem and in some instances used promotions which saved us a few hundred dollars outside of normal hotel rates. You will find any Disney hotel promotions get passed on to Expedia.com and Travelocity
1. Use Moneybackco to receive 6% cashback on Expedia.com.au hotel bookings (used to be Zuji as well)
2. Use Bigrumbs to receive upto 6.4% cashback on hotel bookings for Expedia.com and 4.8% for Travelocity.com. Bigrumb cashbacks do take sometime to come through and in a couple instances the affiliate link did not work.
I think all up with the cashbacks we got back about 5% back. Which worked out to about $500 to $600
And just to finish off we used traveljigsaw.com/carhire300.com to book our car rentals (four of them) which also saved us hundreds of dollars. When you book make sure you take out the fuel top up option, otheriwse it will be added by the car hire company regardless for an extra fee. Carhire3000 are a broker so rentals like Dollar aren't impressed, they tended not to say anything and just issued my car (a blessing in not trying to be upsold).
Let me know if you would like any additonal advice about ticketing etc.
Thanks
