Has anyone used Expedia to book a cruise? Did you have any issues with customer service? I am seeing lower prices there than on my usual TA and the cruise company website. Thanks!

Just double check the rates. I usually compare different cruises using Expedia, then book direct with the cruise line. Sometimes the price Expedia shows doesn't include everything until after you actually go through to book. And a lot of times booking direct with the cruise line will get you some type of onboard credit if you can find a promotion.

Expedia don't get good reviews. I use them for rates and avoid using them.

I did a last minute repo with Expedia last year....
  • as mentioned great for comparing and getting rates
  • not always up to date with prices and availability as contacting the cruise line
