Wanted to share with you that I also am a Christmas baby! Dec. 23rd!! I am also a 4th child.

I don't want to alarm you, but I must tell you I see trouble in your not so distant future!! At the time I was born, 47 yrs ago, (stop laughing, I know I'm OLD) new mommies had to stay in the hospital for several days after delivering a child. So, being I was born on Dec. 23rd, my mom was in the hospital until Dec. 28th. My 2 older brothers and 1 older sister still hold it against me that I "ruined" their Christmas that year, cause mom was not home with them. I hear about it EVERY SINGLE CHRISTMAS from my older (but not maturer) siblings. And they are 50, 51 & 52!!!!

Also your new little one may HATE having a Christmas time birthday!! You know, "this gift is for your birthday and Christmas too" or "We can't have a birthday party for you. It's a busy time of year for everyone." UGH!!! ( Do you think perhaps I should be lying on a couch somewhere sharing this with one of those "special" doctors? ) LOL!!

I really am kidding!! Just make sure you make this Christmas baby feel as special as your other 3 kiddos. God Bless all of you!!

We know this might not be the easiest time of year to have a baby, but we´re determined to make sure that the baby will never feel less special than the others on it´s birthday.

One question for those of you who have christmas babies or were christmas babies yourselves. What did your families do right...that is, is there anything in particular you reccomment. Now I mean, apart from not giving combined christmas and birthday presents, always throwing them a special birthday party, not using christmas wrapping and cards.....

If anyone has any tips I´d love to hear them.

My dear Grandmama always used to make me feel special by telling me that Baby Jesus and I shared a special Birthday. Even when everyone else seemed preoccupied with the rush of the season, my Grandmama always made me an angel food cake. It was her favorite cake and now it has become mine.

Do not even move on Christmas Day! What a gift, though if you had it then. From one Darned December baby to another, welcome to the world kid! It won't be so bad if you remember to say, NO it is not okay to combine gifts for b-day and Christmas unless it is a car!
