Exotic Rasul???

Has anyone done the Exotic Rasul at the Vista Spa & Salon on the Disney Magic? What does it include?

Love love love it.

Done it twice & can't wait to do it again.
It's an hour-long private couple's treatment that is self-paced. You & DH go into a locked-from-the-inside wet room with private shower, tile bench [dry] area, and private stteam room. You are given a variety of body scrubs & body-mud masks type stuff that you apply onto each other & enjoy doing so.

Then (the idea is...) you sit in the steam room & let it sink in/bake on & then have fun washing it off each other with soaps, cleansers, shampoos, conditioners, etc. All that stuff they provide to you. High-end stuff.

I/we just love it. I am actually thinking of booking two back-to-back this time because we ALWAYS wish we had more time!!

Just my 2 cents here:

I did this on our last cruise and I was not all that impressed. As the previous poster said, you do get top of the line products and it is very private and you are able to have a romantic time. I however would not do this again but grad I did do it once.

On Celebrity, I loved it, hubby was not a fan. I can't talk him into it again. The heat completely wiped him out and he slept for three hours afterwards!

My husband and I love the Exotic Rasul. We have a great time having a mud fight. It's just a ton of fun and a chance for us to be kids.
He was very hesitant the first time around (about the whole cruise, not just the ER), but had a wonderful time and later was amazed, AMAZED at how nice his skin felt. I got to laugh and be all "Yes, exfoliation dear, the entire female sex knows of this..."
Of course, now he occasionally gets into my sugar scrub!!! So it could be dangerous.

That "the idea is..." part cracked me up. Honestly the only part we didn't enjoy about it is that we really couldn't do what we were supposedly supposed to do- that steam room should be renamed hotter than hades room. LOL It was so hot we almost burned our feet and after running back to the standing water in the shower area and putting on our slippers again- sitting was near impossible- touching anything in there was asking for a burn. Even soaking it with the hose of cold water only made it "sit-able" for a few seconds. We nixed that idea REAL QUICK. LOL

We didn't even really notice "steam" all that much, it's just that everything was super mega hot to the touch.

No one asked us to buy a thing- so no pressure in that respect which we appreciated.... until I got home and kinda wished I had some of that stuff. LOL

but it was fun.
And we had gloriously soft skin afterwards.
And we SHALL do it again. Steam room be darned. LOL

My husband and I did it when we were on the Magic in early January 2011. The steam room was VERY hot, but we left the door between the steam room and the shower room open and that helped cool it off. After a few minutes we were able to close the door and really enjoy the steam. It just took a few minutes to really get use to how how the steam was.

I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to hear them knock when they come give the warning, but we heard it no problem. They are supposed to give you a 10 minutes warning and then come back 10 minutes later for you. Our person got distracted, so after the 10 minute warning she didn't come back for about 20 minutes. It was nice, but we were sitting in there thinking that 10 minutes took a really long time!

I enjoyed the products, but there was nothing in there I wanted to buy. I didn't get pressured to buy anything though, which I certainly appreciated.

We've done it twice. Both times DH was hesitant- more so the first time, the second time he just 'humored' me, but we did have fun. His only real complaint was that he smelt "girly" after all the lotions!
They are not offering it on the Dream (from what I can see) so I'll just have to book something else like a 1hr sweedish massage!!

We have it scheduled and are really looking forward to it! I think we are so busy being parents all the time that we don't take the time to play or joke around much anymore. I think a mud fight will be just the ticket!!!

We tried it, we weren't real thrilled with it ourselves. It was SO hot in there, and there was essentially no traction so we were slip sliding everywhere!

I would maybe give it another try but I don't think DH is real receptive to that idea.

That site is filtered by dis. If you google "exotic rasul disney" it will come up with the description it used to be called the suiral bath.....assuming I read between the ******* correctly
