post your favorite ones here:

Garlic Lemonade
Put 2 cloves of finely minced garlic in quart jar.
Fill with boiling water and let steep for 30 minutes.
Strain, then add the juice of one lemon.
Sweeten to taste with honey.

Hot Pepper Lemonade:

Make lemonade, while stillhot, add 1 sliced Jalapeno ( seeds removed ). Remove the ppper after 1 hour. If you don't take the pepper out it will get HOTTER!

Feel free to add yours.

Those are some very "unique" lemonade recipes PD. ;) But I'll stick to fruit with fruit or booze with fruit - but hold the spices. :)

bumping cuz I really wanna find some new ones.

Yuck! :crazy2: I'm sorry but as much as I love garlic (and I love it lots), I would not want it in my lemonade!

I like iced tea and lemonade mixed together. That's about as exotic as I get though.

Lemonade with sliced oranges in it is pretty good too.

Ooh, ginger would be good!

PD, those sound really strange...I am wondering if they still taste sweet or tangy or what? I guess I have never tried anything like that, what are they like?

Well, I have only made the hot pepper one. It is really good if you don't let the pepper stay in too long. Sweet and Zesty. Still delicious, but different.

The garlic one came from Garlic Festival website. I will be trying it soon. I love garlic and I love lemonade! What's the worst that can happen? It tastes bad?

I have had lots of things that tasted bad.... :teeth:

Hmmm. My recipe.

It's got lemonade in it, and I can't post the name of it, but here it is:

1 can of Frozen lemonade
6 12oz cans of beer (or more to taste)

Take the frozen lemonade can and fill with Brandy or Vodka, pour in with the rest of the stuff.

Mix it all together. Drink and enjoy!

I love Lavender Lemonade. You crush a lavender stem and add it to your lemonade base and let it steep. I grow lavender just so I can have it with my lemonade!

I really like the Strawberry Lemonade that I found in a magazine awhile back. Let's see if I can remember it off the top of my head....

1/2 can of frozen pink lemonade
Fresh chopped strawberries (a quart or so I think)
1 liter of Seltzer water
2 Tablespoons of sugar (or sugar to taste)

Place Strawberries in blender and puree.
Add Strawberries and remaining ingrediets to pitcher and mix.
Serve over ice.

Mmmmmm!

Bumping in case someone has any more. The strawberry one sounds good.

I've got one - it's an alcoholic version and you make it in a pitcher.

2 servings:

2 cups ginger ale
1/3 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/2 cup sweet vermouth

I know it sounds weird, but you have to taste it to believe it.

Ok, I made it, but won't actually try the garlic lemonade until tomorrow. I'll let you know what I thought....

Let's hope for :goodvibes
