What is the exit or road number off of the turnpike to get to Disney that avoids I4? I’ve taken it many times but can’t remember it to tell my son. I think it might bring you in at Western Way. Thanks.

I believe you are thinking of SR-429.

Depends on which direction you approach from.

From the North, as @erionm said, FL 429 to Western Way or US 192, depending on where you are going.

We come from the South, so we take Osceola Parkway to World Drive.

The other thing I'd suggest is using Google Maps or Waze -- which he's probably doing anyway. They will be priceless if there is some major road drama anywhere.

Coming southbound on the Florida Turnpike, exit 267 takes you onto 429, then as you say, you exit onto Western Way (sorry, I don't know that exit number) to enter WDW. We love taking 429 - once or twice have taken I-4 due to our offsite destination and regretted it!

Western Way is exit 8 or 9 off of SR 429, if I remember correctly. That said, just check your GPS… sometimes it can be faster to take I-4 to certain spots on property.

I-4 might be “faster” but not worth dodging the traffic for us! Not to mention we’ve had trouble with the Turnpike to I-4 interchange due to construction.
