Existing waitlist anxiety

I have had a waitlist for about two months and am getting nervous that it won’t fill. A room just popped up for the night I need. Problem is that because my waitlist is already in, I can’t replace the new reservation if I book it. Do I have to cancel my waitlist and then redo it as a replace? I don’t have enough points to cover both resorts? I’d hate to lose my place in the line and start over. I had a waitlist come through which was a replace and that night had been canceled and member services called me to figure out what I want to do. I don’t know if they would do the same thing without the replace option already being on the waitlist. Anybody know what will happen the waitlist comes through? Thanks

If you see the room, modify what you currently have…if you have a back up booked…or just book it…and then cancel the waitlist.

If this isn’t your first choice, and you want to keep the waitlist, then once you book this, contact MS to make a note on your waitlist to have it replace this newly booked room.

Thank you. That was so easy I chatted with MS and they added the note to the waitlist. Not sure why I didn’t think of this before I have canceled several previous waitlists do that I could re-waitlist to add the replacement of the reservation to the new waitlist. Not very smart on my part…
