Biked 25 minutes on my exercise bike before it got too hot here in the northeast. Another 90 degree day forecast. Can't do anything after work it is just too hot and the pool is not open. Last week we were rainy and in the 50's why open the pool.
Hi. I'm new here and hope you don't mind my jumping in. I rode my exercise bike for 5 minutes this morning. Not much, I know. But I have lupus and it affects my joints. So I have to start out very slowly. I have to start somewhere! Hoping this thread will inspire me to stay with it and keep increasing my time.
Welcome cbrfan! There is a lot of motivation here. This has REALLY helped me make sure I get my exercise in each day... plus the monthly exercise goal.
I did a 35 minute wog this a.m. It is cooler this a.m. and it has been so hot at night when I usually go that it drains me. Did better this morning and was able to jog more than I have been in the last week since my 5k. This afternoon swim with the kids!
