Okay, I haven't been exercising much in the past few weeks, mostly due to my VCR being broken. Okay now that's not the problem. But the last few times I have my heels just hurt SO MUCH the next day. Does anyone have any advice or help?? PLEASE!! I should have my VCR tomorrow (if it can be fixed - keep your fingers crossed) and I want to get back at it a 24 hours later my heel still hurts when I walk.

WHat kind of flooring are you excersing on? If it is concrete, you need to pout some kind of padding under your feet. Concrete does not absorb the shock of your weight- your feet do!

Well the flooring is a mix of things. When at home, it is carpet laid on top of concrete. Yesterday is was a mix of concrete, aspalt and grass.

maybe you should go see a foot doc and make sure you don't have heel spurs or anything else going on.

I have tendonitis in my foot and I know how horrible it is to have chronic foot pain. Are you wearing shoes when you workout? Good shoes are a must!

Take care of your feet - you'll be needing them for a while!

I use to work out in the basement.... for 1 day that is-! The next day I could hardly walk! WE had carpet and padding on the floor there, but it does not absorb the impact the way a carpeted room above the basement would. We raise a section of the floor in the basement, carpeted it and then I was fine. Try doing your workout upstairs for a few days and see what happens. A change of room may be all that is needed.
