Executive Comp Ticket Question

I'm not sure who other than Disney would know the answer to this question, but I figured if anyone did, it would be the posters on this board!

We're going to WDW late March with friends of ours that have executive comp tickets due to their participation in a Disney televised special. They're a large family as are we and we're going during Spring Break times and staying at our rental home so fastpasses are a MUST and unfortunately we can't do those until the 30 day mark because of the off-property accomodations. Since their tickets were comp tickets, they do not have a confirmation number and have to pick them up at will call when we get there. My family has AP's so we're good to go.

My question is this....without a confirmation number or a physical ticket, how can I assign myself permission to make fastpass reservations for their party as well as ours? I've tried making them simultaneously with other families who have their own MDE accounts and it seldom works seamlessly, especially with a group of nearly 20!

I know these types of tickets are not the norm but I didn't know if anyone else had experiences something similar or if the principals were the same regardless of the ticket type. For the life of me, I can't figure it out.

Thanks in advance for the help!!!!

If they don't have any sort of confirmation number, then you pretty much are out of luck booking any Fastpasses until they pick the tickets up. You may be able to see if Guest Services will match all of your fastpasses, or give them a few anytime FPs, but I wouldn't count on it. I would say, make sure to pick up the tickets as soon as possible (i.e. the day before) so you can start trying to get a headstart on FPs. Otherwise, arrive early, hit the big rides, and just be prepared for lines. Sorry I couldn't be more help!

Their tickets are loaded on their MDE account, but it's different than mine. I was trying to give myself authorization to make FP+ reservations for our entire party rather than doing them on our respective accounts. We definitely won't wait until we get there to make them because there would be virtually zero chance of getting FOP for that large of a party. We're already pushing our luck as it is 30 days out, but I've snagged them before like that.

No confirmation number, no active ticket, no way to get FP ahead of time.

So wait - that info would have been helpful in the first post. Are they active tickets? Can they book FP themselves?

Sorry I didn't clearly convey that in the OP, but yes, they are active tickets already loaded into their MDE account so they could make their own FP+ reservations via their account. My family's tickets are loaded in my MDE account. I was trying to get everything into the same account to do the FP+ reservations for our entire party at the same time. Technically I could call them and we could try to book them in our own accounts, but there's no guarantee we'll get the same attractions with even an overlapping time period. Just trying to do this as cleanly as possible.

Can you add them as friends and family? You should be able to see their ticket entitlements once that happens. Granted if each person has their own account, you'd end up with a ton of friends/family

Isn't there a friends and family option on MDE?

There is but I can't figure out how to add them to my account without a confirmation # or reservation # (which neither are available for this type of ticket)

Friends and Family!

I am connected to family and friends. Any of us can book all or some of us with no issues at all.

For the others that have their OWN MDE account, you need to connect with their account. If you already have them listed in YOUR Family & Friends list as a profile you manage, you need to select "Update", then click "Invite to Connect" and then enter the email address they used when they created their MDE account. They will need to approve the friend request.

Once you've connected with the primary MDE account holders, you can then connect with their managed profiles. To do this, click 'Add a Guest' on your Family & Friends list. By default, you will be presented with a list of people you may know which will include any profiles managed by your connected friends. Select those you want to connect with and then click 'Done'. The person that manages the profiles selected will need to approve the friend request.

Yeah, what PP said:
  1. Go into MDE and "Friends and Family List"
  2. Click "Add a Guest"
  3. Select "I'll add their name and age" Put in their name/age as it is under their MDE account
  4. Once you put in all required info, it will pop up an option to "invite this guest to connect" and enter their email address (associated with their MDE)
  5. It will send them an invite. Once they confirm, then they will appear in your MDE friends list. You can add the primary person.
  6. After connecting with the primary person, you need to connect with the rest of their party.
  7. Go back to "add a Guest" and click "Find through my connected guests". It should show all of the people they are connected to so you can select each of them to add to your account. Make sure their settings are such that someone can connect through a mutual friend.

If not could you not do it the other way around and have your friend link you and your family to their account and they make the fast passes ?

I had actually thought of that before we were able to figure it out with the help of posters here.
