Vent.

This lady tried to mow me over in Kohl's today. No lie. I was in the Juniors' dressy side, in the back by their clearance rack. I'm just standing there sifting through the racks, when this lady who's short (I was a giant compared to her at 5'3, and no she's not a dwarf) and has this enormous ski jacket on.

She's like "Excuse me, excuse me, you need to get out of my way!". I was WTH? She scared the beejeebers outta me so I left to go to the Christmas department with my mom and sister. I get there and I'm looking through the themed ornaments when who else comes over and tries to mow me down AGAIN! I was like, Lady, WHAT is your problem? There's not that great a sale and it's not Black Friday! She ignored me. :headache:

So please, be courteous to all when you're out shopping. You never know if the person has a physical, unseen disability. [/vent]

aww sorry. i hate when people do that.
today i was in kohls too, and i was walking down the center aisle and this ladycoming at me from my side saw me, and just kept walking and ran right into me in my side and gave me a dirty look when i didnt move out of her way fast enough.

and this other lady to my mom said "OMYGOD! CAN WE MOVE?!?" or something.
and my mom said "yes this is a busy store, theres going to be people walking in the aisles! "

uhh. people.

I see a lot of people in those store electric wheelchairs trying to ram me down! If I'm standing in an aisle, they often come zooming into and get this sour look on their face like I'm in their way when there is clearly enough room.

Sometimes I think they ride those things for the sport of it.

People are so rude!!!

This was one of my biggest fears when I went to Disneyland. I had to use one, and people gave me the dirtiest looks. I wasn't mowing them down, I was actually pretty slow because the scooter had a motor problem. But just because I was young and in a chair, people thought I was faking it.

I actually got bold and fed up enough to say to one lady who looked at me the wrong way, "You see this scar? I have a knee replacement due to cancer, you can take it if you want and I'll gladly take your health!". This other lady was so sympathetic though, she saw my scar and asked me how my knee was doing. I gave her a questioning look and she said "I have my knee replaced too. It's one heck of a journey", so it was nice to have someone like that.

Ok kinda of topic. But don't you hate strollers at Disney! I mean the people with them are sooooooo rude! They think just because they have a stroller they are so special! AHHHHHHH I HATE IT!!! Like really I was so close to yelling at someone! Or what I usually do is say really load near a person with a stroller is. "Oh I hate strollers! And ppl are so rude with them!" I don't even think that strollers should be at disney! If your child is that small then it shouldn't be there and ok 5 year olds can walk! ok!?! AHHHHH! (sorry I just don't like strollers... yeah):goodvibes

What the fudge! I would have showed her my way, and popped her in the jaw. lol

Ugh I don't understand people sometimes, they annoy me.:headache:

Aw, I don't get why people would give dirty looks just because you are in an electric wheelchair. The people that I'm talking about that I see in them actually look angry!!! Not all though, I can just tell which ones are the ones that are mad that you are maybe in their way in an aisle. :sad2: And actually most of these people are older, so they probably need it for one reason or another, it's just frustrating when they act like you are such an inconvienience to them.

OT: I know! I hate strollers, too. IMHO, I don't see WHY exactly you'd want to take your young child to Disney World. They won't even remember it. So what's the point? :confused3

On topic: I hate it when people are so rude when it comes to shopping..especially if it's not even that great of a sale.

LMAO.
You tell em' sonya.

Oh sonya, I was target yesterday shopping and this ****** woman grabbed a Wii game out of the hands of this gal in a wheelchair! She ran to the register and bought it.

I guess one of the managers saw the whole thing, and called the target security and the lady had to apology to this disabled woman. Luckily the store had another copy of the game, but sheesh!

Please be kind and considerate this holiday season.

sometimes people in scooters annoy the heck out of me!
like at disneyworld and stuff some epople think just cause there in a scooter or something they can go to the front of the line!

hello reality check! just cause your not walking and a machine is moving you around doesnt me you can skip to the fron tof the line!

geeze some people!

oh heres another vent!
my mom, aunt, cousin and i were in line for the character connection in disneyworld and this ladys son was sitting down, and she told him to come on cause the line was moving and he didnt move, so she picked him up by the collar and stood him up. then he didnt walk, and she PUNCHED him in the cheek! omg people these days!

so when we were at the front my mom told the worker lady and she escorted the lady out of the line...

some people annoying the heck out of me...

OMG Rachel! The only reason I got to the front of the line was because I was with Make a Wish, and those are the ONLY people who get front of the line access.
