Excursions in Tortola

Hi everyone!

The wife and I are heading to our first 7-day and first Eastern in December. We're trying to decide whether to do The Baths which is obviously a favourite from everything I'm reading or the Forest and Beach (TT08).

Does anyone have any stories about doing the TT08 Forest and Beach? I haven't been able to find anything searching the forums.

It would be good to see if other cruiselines have a similar excursion. The reason being, Tortola is still a new stop for Disney.

There are taxis at the pier in Tortola that can take you to Cane Garden Bay. No need for an excursion if you decide all you want is beach time. The ride over the top of the island to CGB is a tour in and of itself. At the pier there are dispatchers who will match you up with the right open air "mini-bus" (or private taxi), depending on what you say you want to do. There are other trip advisory websites that have lots of information about Tortola (and other ports). The site I looked at did a good job of describing the hike through Sage Mountain and we decided it was not for us. Have fun planning!
