Hello -- just trying to get information on what excursions my 4 year old daughter would be able to do. We are going on the May 22nd Western sailing. I would love for her to meet with the Dolphins but aren't there age requirements?...
Also - do you think it's better to book on your own or through Disney?
Thanks and sorry for all the questions!

I think for the dolphins she is to young but if you book outside of Disney you could do the stingray thing with Captain Marvins. Last cruise my choices were limited becuase I went through Disney and they don't have much for 2-6 year olds!

We did the stingray swim at Grand Cayman with our 2 1/2 and 1 1/2 yo dd. they really enjoyed it and so did we. We stayed on the boat for the snorkeling part of the trip and the kids ate lunch during this time. You have to book with someone other than Disney. I would NOT recommend Captain Bryans. Try Catain Marvins instead.

Captain Marvin's ROCKS. We took DD (3.5) and DS (5) and they loved it. The service was excellent for families and the kids don't have to get in the water (They can just enjoy the boat ride) but my DD LOVED the stingrays; absolutely loved them.

Thanks everybody.... we probably will check out Captain Marvin's since so many people gave them great reviews... I know my husband wants to snorkel with the stingrays....

4 is not too young to do the dolphin encounters. We booked ours, and I specifically asked, and they said that would be fine. Just an FYI

We wanted to do this one.... http://www.dolphindiscovery.com./swim_dolphins.htm# but the minimun age is 8. This one you get to actually swim and interact more with them but my daughter is to young this time around.

Question.....
We've booked the HALF DAY TRIP with Capt Marvins for our May 22 cruise.......10AM to 1PM. How do you handle lunch? We are sailing with a 6 yr old, and he will definately need lunch. Do you pack a lunch? Did you order it from room service? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
