Sailing on RCCL EOS in October, 1st time! I have questions on Excursions.

1. How far ahead of a cruise can you book Excursions?
2. Does your Cruise have to be paid in full before you can book?
3. When do you pay for the Excursions? Is it paid when you paid, added to your total Cruise cost & paid when that is due, or paid on-board?

One other question:
Has anyone ever not booked an Excursion in Nassau & just tried to grab a Taxi to take you around the Island? There will be 8 of us.

Thanks

You pay for excursions when you book them.

For info on self tours of Nassau I would head to the Ports forum on cruisecritic!

If you go onto their website and go into "my cruises" you can do it all from there. it will give you all the options available to you in that port. You pick your time, check out, then pay! t's that easy.

And yes you can cancel and the refund comes quickly. Last year I had to completely change my cruise after I had some excursions booked, but before final payment was due(thanks to hubby's job). I just clicked cancel and I got my refund in less than a week.

Taxis are everywhere in Nassau. We took one to Atlantis. They have the van types also.

1. How far ahead of a cruise can you book Excursions?
As soon as they're added online for your sailing. Unlike DCL, there's no specific booking window (such as 90 days at midnight).

2. Does your Cruise have to be paid in full before you can book?
No.

3. When do you pay for the Excursions? Is it paid when you paid, added to your total Cruise cost & paid when that is due, or paid on-board?
You pay for an excursion when you book it online.
