Has anyone done the glass botton boat excursion? Is it worth the money for a family of four? Also, open for any suggestions for excursions in Nassau.
Thank you!

IMHO the glass bottom boat that i went on in Nassau was no way worth the money! It was a double decker boat, and your rode out aways, and then you took turns (about ten minutes total) going down below to the viewing area, and really all you could see was conch shells. Not worth it at all!

We did not think the glass bottom boat excursion was worth the money we paid for it. We did not see very much sea life. If you go you will want to watch your feet getting on the ramp. DD then 4, was wearing sandals and had her toe run over by it. She cried the whole trip and lost a toe nail over it. A couple other people said that it had run over there toes too!! Beware!:(

Sounds like the glass botton boat excursion is not worth the money. Thanks for all the helpful information.:Pinkbounc

Especially with little ones, it seems like the good excursions in Nassau are limited. What ages are your kids?

Seems like the Glass Bottom Boat consistantly gets neg. reviews on the boards here... Some families have reported that their kids really enjoyed the Pirate Museum. We may spend the day at Atlantis, especially if the weather is half-way nice. Pricey - but there are a lot of things there that we personally will really enjoy. DS LOVES aquariums!

Of course, what you plan to do is your own personal choice. Might be good to let everyone know what kinds of things you have in mind! :D

Just came back from 7 day eastern cruise. Our family of 3 took the glass bottom boat ride at castaway cay. It's new. $25 for adults and $20 for kids. Two rows of windows. You line up on the sides of the windows. Total of 4 lines of people. Room for continous viewing for everyone. Very nice. :bounce: :bounce: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
