Well, Otto had a total of 9 babies this time, but only 3 survived. It took her about 24 hours to have all of them (I'm guessing she's just exhausted) so the last 6 were probably in there too long after her water broke. I didn't know about 3 of them until I cleaned the cage this morning. She had them hidden.
The older ones are now about 3 1/2 weeks old, and they can start getting each other pregnant at 5 weeks. I'm going to separate them at 4 weeks, just to be sure. I don't know where I'm going to put them, though. They're all in one big aquarium now. Otto's in a small aquarium with the new babies. Milo is in a wire cage by himself, but even the old babies are still small enough to squeeze through the bars so nobody is going in there with him. I think I'll have to put the two older girls back in with mom.
