Excited yet????

I keep asking my DD16 if she is the least bit excited about our trip. She gives me the "yes mother" answer. But my sister just called and said that my daughter thinkd I am crazy. Something about the Mickey paper towels that I bought last night and the Mickey night light that I put in the kitchen. As it turnes out, she is excited but I am over the top excited. Which according to my daughter makes it hard for me to see her excitement. Anyone else ever have this happen?

I am the same way. I love to plan. I get myself so excited by reading tips and looking at pictures. Going next month. I think I am driving my family crazy. I am always saying hey guess what I just learned or ohhh look at these pictures. I now the the eye roll.

Oh Well I still can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are driving down on 7/30 and it seems that I am the only one that is excited. Everytime I tell my dh or my dd they just seem to roll their eyes at me. I am so excited that I can't stand it.

My DH sees me on the Dis boards and asked me last night, "What are you going to do when the trip is over? You won't have anything to do!" He doesn't realize that I'll then be planning next year's trip. (LOL) Whenever I try to talk about the trip I get the eye rolling thing too!

He just doesn't understand, so glad to have found a place with people who do!!

When I was a child we didn't have the money for vacations and things. When DH was a child they went all the time! I think I am making up for my Disneyless childhood! LOL

I am so so excited. I think I am more excited then a kid would be. I love disney world. I can wait to go.

You're all so lucky, we have sooooooo long to wait and I'm so excited already, buying all sorts of books for tips, scanning this and other websites. My DH and DS10 think I am totally mad!! Trips to Disney are so few and far between I have to have something to look forward to!!

Well me and my father are the planners in our family, a nice gene he passed on I think. My mother and sister its like pulling theeth to get any kind of excitement out of them. Now that I am older and planning my own trips I still call dad to help me with the planning and he does the same when he is going. I do have to say that my husband is very kind and though he may not want to hear about it he puts his best face on and listens just long enough to appease me. But ALL of them reap the benifits in the end they ALL love that we know where we are going when we get there and don't have to think about the next move. That's when they get excited. They turn to the planners and say "What do we do next" Thats when they get as excited as we have been from the beginning. Hey, it takes all in this world I am just glad I am who I turned out to be, thanks Dad!!

Hey mother moto we are leaving a couple of days before you...staying at the poly. I am very excited too. I have been for weeks. It doesn't feel like it will ever get here. My dh and ds and dd are finally getting excited with me. My dh gets excited when we start making plans to go then there is a lull until we get closer to exiting for trip. Right now he's in that aggrevated, this is taking way to long stage. Oh well, I guess we should wish our lives away.....I'll just have to wait.

I can so relate with everyone. I made a disney calender and it's posted on my fridge. The kids are supposed to shade in the days as they pass, but I have been doing it , I just can't help myself. THe kids are telling me to "give them a chance". So now that we are down to 2 months away, I'll share the calender. My DH is just as excited as I am, everytime we shop or see something on TV we relate it to Disney somehow.....we are so NUTTY!


Can't wait!

Hello, We are staying at the Embassy suites. There are 4 kids an Mother and myself.(DD,DS,DNEICE,DNEPHEW) We were unable to get a connecting suite any where on property. You are right about thinking it will never get here. I am going to start packing this week since I also have to pack my husbands things, as he is leaveing for Sturgis 3 days befor we return home.
