Making ADR's Today - 6/12/09

I made my ADRs this morning also. I am the most disney obsessed in our group of 14, so I was the one that got to get up at 4:30 this morning to make the ADRs for us all. I was a bit worried, cause some are for groups of 14, while others are for groups of 2, but Disney magic didn't let me down!! Here are our plans (# of people per res):



Sept 18- Sci-Fi(2) Tutto Italia (9)
Sept 19- Kona Cafe(14)

I was able to get within 10 minutes if not the exact time I had requested, except for Coral Reef, but I'm going to continue to call back and work on that one also.
BTW- I call at 4:59 (6:59EST) and went straight to a CM, no wait at all, thanks to the advice of so many on the DIS!!!

What time did you get for Tutto Italia? I'm also planning a dinner their that night (my birthday)

I bolded the things I got that you got!! Maybe we'll run into each other!! Also, we would have Cape May and Tusker House breakfast, but I have them switched from what you have!

We're doing CP breakfast at 8:05, Princess at 8:10, and CP dinner at 5:55. I'll make sure I have my lime green Mickey heads proudly displayed!

This is great news. I will be making our adr's for our Grand Gathering in a couple of days and hope to have the same success as you did.

I had my TA book for me...... I guess it was nicer than waiting on the phone all morning (I work nights and needed to go to sleep).

I wasn't surprised that I didn't get the exact ADR times I wanted since my TA probably didn't do them till 9am, but I will call back on my cell today (Saturday) and use my free minutes to call bright and early....

Sept 10th - San Angel 5:45p (What I wanted!)

Sept 11th Chef Mickeys 8:10a (I wanted 7:30a - will call back for that)

Sept 13th Sanaa 2:45p (Wanted 5p - totally booked so she booked what she could - will work on that one)

Could not make reservations for Bongos since IT IS CLOSED Didn't know that after all the months of being on here.... doi doi doi..... Wanted to make ADR for Paradisio 37 but they aren't taking any..... will keep checking back to make sure they don't start!

Called this morning for our last day and got CRT for breakfast, Tutto for lunch. DH likes to get luggage and check out squared away first thing in the AM, so made the ADR for 9, hopefully giving us time to check in with RAC. With the lack of a fridge to return (the swap we were in lost there's about a week after I switched into it), and less luggage to get together (don't want to pay for extra checked bags), this should be ok.

I was really hoping for early dinner times, as we like to take a break in the afternoon, eat early supper and enjoy the rest of the evening at the parks. I tried Dec. of 08 for Ohana, and Park Fare and was never able to get it, so I was shocked to get them both this year.

I was on the phone for 50 minutes this morning but got all that we wanted! So excited! Got right through at 7 a.m.!!

My ADR day was Jun.11th. Our travel dates are Sept. 9-14. I was a little concerned about getting everything because of "free dining". I had my spreadsheet ready with back-ups for my back-ups. The only Dinner show I was'nt able to get a ressie for is the Hoop-Dee-Doo Review. I booked Mickey's BBQ in it's place. The CM said it was due to a "computer glitch" but to call back in a few days. I've heard conflicting reports about this particular dinner show during this week. Does anyone know what's going on? Anyway, I'm not complaining; I was able to get everything else within 15 minutes of the times I wanted and most at the exact time I requested. Thanks so much to everyone on this board for all your help. You guys are the reason my family will get to eat breakfast in the castle!

We make our ADRs on tuesday and we are hoping to get Hoop Dee Doo for the 14th. Have you tried calling back yet ?

Awww, thanks so much! Do you have all of your's planned out? I started calling at about 10 minutes till 7am (ETS) and got through right at 7am. It took about 42 minutes. The CM was super nice though. Good luck and keep is posted on what you get! It's so exciting!

keep calling. there was no Hoop availability for our week when i called at the 90 day mark on wed. i tried on thurs and got one that conflicted with our lecellier rezzie, and then on friday i got the one i originally wanted.

Almost, kinda, maybe (hows that for confusing )

I have them sorted out, kinda, except on the time for the breakfasts. I am looking at 4 breakfast away from AKL, 1 at AK, 1 at the Poly, 1 at the Contemporary, and 1 at the Beach Club. The AK one is easy. The Poly and the Contemporary is kinda easy, though I can't make them at 7:30, I think. The Beach Club is the hard one. I don't think we can take a cab without a car seat for my son, so...

Also not sure when the Monorail starts running. I know the buses start at 7 am (I thought I saw 6:30 somewhere, but can't find that now), so I'll have to make them at 8.

The Beach Club is the hard one. I'll figure it out, though!

Congrats! I got all the restaurants we wanted, but our 'Ohana reservation is alittle late for us- 8:55pm! I keep calling back to get something earlier with no luck.

We are going to be there the same time as you! Here's hoping for light crowds and great weather!!
